Statutory Deductions

Q: How is tax calculated on uniform allowance?

For employees who are in the Exempt category for uniform allowance, the tax payable is 25% x (33 1/3% of any amount in excess of $5,739).

For employees who are not exempt for uniform allowance, the tax payable is 25% x (33 1/3% of cost of uniform).
