Statutory Deductions
Q. If a person works only sometimes (once or twice per week), should that person still pay taxes and statutory deductions?
Yes. NIS, NHT, and Education Tax should be paid, once the person is earning above the minimum wage, and Income Tax should be paid if he earns in excess of the threshold.
